Alex

Alexander Simon was born on June 14, 2008.  He was born 4 weeks early when an ultrasound showed that he was running out of amniotic fluid and I had to be induced.   After a few days in the NICU due to some minor breathing issues, we brought our tiny little guy home.

Alex remains small, never having been on the positive side of the growth chart.  But what he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in personality.  A friend said it perfectly when she commented on a photo of him on facebook:  "he's adorable, but to really appreciate Alex, you need sound!" 

Alex is animated, funny, sweet, friendly, smart and has never met a stranger.  He considers everyone a friend, from his sister to his Sunday School Teacher.  He adores his older brothers trying very hard to keep up and be like them.  He likes any kind of vehicle, playing in water (pools, dog water, etc), legos, playing games and reading books.

Alex has definitely added laughter and liveliness to our family!
